Donor Connect Wraps Up a Season of Impactful Alumni Engagement

The SVP Charlotte SEED20 Alumni Enrichment Team closed out the season with an inspiring finale: Donor Connect, held at Sugar Creek Brewery in LoSo (Lower South End). This dynamic event brought together nonprofit leaders, board members, and community champions for an evening of collaboration and growth. The format provided a speed networking experience where donors, played by Partners, Sponsors, and community members, engaged directly with nonprofit leaders and their board representatives for multiple rounds of 5-minute impact sessions. 

The goal was simple yet powerful: strengthen the pitch by adjusting to donor personas. Alumni received real-time feedback from donors, sharpening their storytelling and fundraising strategies. The energy in the room reflected SVP Charlotte’s mission to foster meaningful connections and amplify social impact. 

As the last alumni engagement of the season, Donor Connect was a testament to the power of partnership and shared purpose. Co-leaders Henry Lander and Cristy Farr set the tone with a rousing commencement for the Class of 2025 alumni.
