Big news: this year’s SEED20 OnStage will be emceed by Lauren Ansley, Founder & CEO of Ansley Corporate Entertainment. Lauren is a corporate entertainer, keynote speaker, and skilled emcee known for creating energetic, interactive experiences that keep audiences fully engaged. With her quick wit, warm presence, and masterful ability to connect a room, she’s sure to set the tone for an unforgettable evening.
Joining her on stage is Terri L. White, President & CEO of The Charlotte Museum of History and a proud SEED20 2024 alumna. Terri is a transformative leader with a diverse background in museums, operations, and the distilled spirits industry, and she was named a 2024 Charlottean of the Year by Charlotte Magazine. With her bold vision, energetic leadership style, and magnetic personality, Terri is sure to bring dynamic presence and unstoppable enthusiasm to the SEED20 stage.

Introducing the SEED20 Class of 2026

We are thrilled to introduce the SEED20 Class of 2026, a group of ten innovative nonprofit leaders who are ready to make an impact. Over the next three months, these organizations will receive coaching and marketing support as they prepare for a spectacular night OnStage on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. During the event, each finalist will share their vision through a powerful three minute pitch.

Beyond the stage, every organization will continue to benefit from alumni enrichment opportunities and free consulting through SVP Spark Teams, helping them strengthen their organizations and amplify their missions throughout the year. What an exciting season ahead.

Donor Connect Wraps Up a Season of Impactful Alumni Engagement 

The SVP Charlotte SEED20 Alumni Enrichment Team closed out the season with an inspiring finale: Donor Connect, held at Sugar Creek Brewery in LoSo (Lower South End). This dynamic event brought together nonprofit leaders, board members, and community champions for an evening of collaboration and growth. The format provided a speed networking experience where donors, played by Partners, Sponsors, and community members, engaged directly with nonprofit leaders and their board representatives for multiple rounds of 5-minute impact sessions. 

The goal was simple yet powerful: strengthen the pitch by adjusting to donor personas. Alumni received real-time feedback from donors, sharpening their storytelling and fundraising strategies. The energy in the room reflected SVP Charlotte’s mission to foster meaningful connections and amplify social impact. 

As the last alumni engagement of the season, Donor Connect was a testament to the power of partnership and shared purpose. Co-leaders Henry Lander and Cristy Farr set the tone with a rousing commencement for the Class of 2025 alumni. Applause also goes to Enrichment Team members Michele Amoroso and Caroline Littrell for a season well executed. Thank you to all who poured into our alumni this season! Bravi!!!

2025 SEED20 Impact Report: Investing in Our Community’s Nonprofits

Each year, SEED20 spotlights some of the Greater Charlotte region’s most promising social entrepreneurs—leaders tackling our community’s most pressing challenges through creativity, collaboration, and innovation.

The 2025 SEED20 Impact Report highlights another year of remarkable growth and impact. From sold-out events to expanded alumni programs, SEED20 continues to fuel bold ideas that strengthen our community.

2025 By the Numbers

  • $51,000 in cash and in-kind prizes awarded
  • $71,000+ in community donations raised
  • 2,750+ consulting hours donated
  • 480+ total coaching hours contributed
  • 88% of participants still thriving after the program

Since its launch, SEED20 has provided more than $816,000 in total nonprofit value, supported 210 organizations, and exposed 5,000+ attendees to local changemakers.

Growing Impact Year After Year

In 2025, SEED20 expanded its reach by adding a new third-place award, increasing in-kind prize packages, and introducing more alumni workshops to support ongoing growth. Participants like Project Outpour and The Election Hub continue to demonstrate how SEED20’s coaching, visibility, and funding fuel long-term community impact.
